Our Process

Wondering What’s it Like to Work with Us? Below is an outline of our process.

What to Expect When You Reach Out

We believe the best working relationships start with honest conversations — even if those conversations lead you somewhere other than working with us. That's why we start every new relationship with a simple, no-cost, three-meeting process designed to answer your questions and make sure we're the right fit before anything else happens.

Meeting One: Let’s Talk

We'll start by just chatting — what got you thinking about reaching out, what's on your mind, what questions you've got. No agenda beyond understanding where you're at. After this meeting, we'll send you access to our secure portal where you can upload any documents you'd like us to review — as much or as little as you're comfortable sharing.

Meeting Two: Getting Into the Details

This is where we really dig in. We'll ask a lot of questions and learn about your situation so we can actually put together something useful — not a canned pitch. We'll also spend time understanding the behavioral side of your financial world — the habits, instincts, and decisions that shape how you actually manage money day to day.

Meeting Three: Here’s What We Found

We'll walk you through what we learned, answer whatever's still on your mind, and talk straight about next steps — whether that's working with us or pointing you somewhere else that might be a better fit.

The whole process is free, and there's zero obligation. We just want you to walk away with real answers, no matter what you decide.

What Does The Client Experience Look Like?

The three meetings above get you a plan. What happens next is what actually makes that plan worth having.

We meet with you every spring and fall to revisit where things stand, check the plan against what's actually happened in your life, and adjust for whatever's changed. Investments get reviewed at both meetings, since markets don't wait for a rotation. Beyond that, we cycle through the areas that matter most over time, estate planning, insurance, taxes, and retirement strategy, so nothing gets missed, but you're not sitting through a rehash of everything every single time. Between meetings, you're not waiting for the next appointment to reach us. If something comes up, whether it fits the current rotation or not, you call or email, and we answer.

This is also where the conversation about giving keeps going. It's rarely a one-time decision. As your situation changes year to year, so does your capacity to be generous, and we want that to keep showing up in the plan rather than getting revisited only when you happen to think of it.

The goal isn't to hand you a report and disappear. It's an ongoing relationship built around the actual life you're living, not just the one you had when the plan was first written.
